Bomb attack kills 21 including 12 Iranian pilgrims in Iraq

A bomb attack in central Iraq has claimed the lives of 21 people, including 12 Iranian pilgrims. Reports say a sticky bomb attached to a bus tore through the vehicle in the city of Hillah. The bus had stopped for refueling at a gas station in Shomali district of Hillah. The Iranian victims were returning from Arba’een commemorations in the holy city of Karbala. The Daesh terrorist group has claimed responsibility for the attack. Witnesses say the death toll could rise as the explosion was powerful.
