What makes Belgium’s Doudou Festival world heritage?

A huge procession took place on Sunday, June 11, in the southern Belgian city of Mons, as part of the week-long celebrations of the Doudou Festival. The Doudou Festival was recognized in 2005 by UNESCO as an Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity.
